Our Students

Our programs primarily benefit low-income, functionally-illiterate adults and their children, ages 2 months – 5 years. The majority of our students reside in Ada County. This past year we served 379 students, including 61 families and 90 children. Of our adult students, 27% were male and 73% female. Fifty six percent of children were male and 44% were female. Our students came from 43 different countries of origin; 13% were Asian, 17% Black/African, 5% European, 45% Hispanic/Latino, 12% Middle Eastern, and 8% American. Almost all, 96%, students had low incomes, and 51% were unemployed at their time of enrollment.
