Our Students

Our programs primarily benefit low-income, functionally-illiterate adults and their children, ages 2 months – 5 years. The majority of our students reside in Ada County. This past year we served 443 students, including 88 families and 126 children. Of our adult students, 26% were male and 74% female. Fifty six percent of children were male and 44% were female. Our students came from 43 different countries of origin; 13% were Asian, 23% African,  38% Hispanic/Latino, 16% Middle Eastern, 6% American, and 4% European. Almost all, 96%, students had low incomes, and 62% were unemployed at their time of enrollment.
