Our Students

Our programs primarily benefit low-income, functionally-illiterate adults and their children, ages 2 months – 5 years. The majority of our students reside in Ada County. This past year we served 452 students, including 96  families and 121 children. Of our adult students, 31% were male and 69% female. Fifty five percent of children were male and 45% were female. Our students came from 45 different countries of origin; 21% were Asian, 15% African,  29% Hispanic/Latino, 22% Middle Eastern, 10% American, and 3% European. Almost all, 97%, students had low incomes, and 40% were employed at their time of enrollment.
