Volunteer Opportunities

Learning Lab Volunteers have a variety of opportunities, including: Tutoring adults, working with children, administrative support, special events, facilities maintenance, or short-term projects.

Volunteer Adult Tutor

Support adult students one-on-one or in small groups using lesson plans created by our educators. No experience needed—training provided. Tutors help with literacy, GED prep, English, and Citizenship.

Early Childhood Tutor

Support children ages 8 weeks to 5 years through play, learning, and care. From rocking babies to joining circle time, you help create a classroom filled with comfort, joy, and discovery while parents learn.

Do you have staff who would like to get involved or are looking for a volunteer opportunity?  We are happy to come to you and present a Learn About the Lab session to your group.
